My goal is to create a relaxed, pressure-free environment for you and your family. I want to capture you at your most natural. I do my best to make the experience fun and stress free.
I work with almost 100% natural light, in mostly outdoor settings where you can relax.
I do my best to customize your session to fit your personal needs. Whether it be scheduling a morning session for a well rested child or a late afternoon to ensure that your entire family is available, I do my best to work with busy schedules. Most sessions are outdoors and you can choose the location. If you would like suggestions, let me know what type of place/background you are looking for and I can provide some options. Your session will last approximately 25 – 75 minutes depending on the location and type of portraiture. From session to delivery, I spend between 15 and 20 hours working with you and editing your photos. I cull through the images, choose the best ones, edit those and then deliver them via online gallery. Please keep this in mind when booking a session – give yourself plenty of breathing room for any deadlines involving your images. Allow roughly two to three weeks for standard orders and three to four weeks for custom or special delivery. Orders are delivered via online gallery from which you can download your images. You also have the option to purchase professional prints directly from the site if you wish.
I get many questions regarding attire. Should we wear matching outfits? Should we coordinate? The answer is always personal preference – some like to match, others prefer to coordinate and others choose neither. It’s really what you want to see in your photos. I do recommend to wear clothes that aren’t too busy or bright – you want the focus of the photos to be on the people and not the pattern of the attire.
